In this artwork I reflect on the connections between power, desire, pride, and compassion and question the inadequate stewardship our planet currently endures.
I specifically do this by examining how technology and unseen labor shape our understanding of service, extraction, and aesthetics.
In recasting these discarded objects into fine art materials like ceramics, I remake ideas and forms from their entrenched contexts into a new potentiality.
